Outsurance - where you dont get 'paid out !
<p>Four of our bicycles were ****** from our property. In spite of being loyal customers with Outsurance and having more security measures, than specified on our policy, they first stalled and then tried every manouvre to do an inappropriately low settlement. You only become aware of their "rules", when you try to claim. These supposed rules are nowhere on the Policy Schedule.</p> <p>Be warned, you don't get paid out, when the claim is substantial.</p>

We will gladly pay out a valid claim for the full value, regardless of high the amount might be, provided the conditions of cover are met. In your case, the items ****** were not enclosed in a building as required. Any person looking into your property had full view of the bicycles and access to them. The risk of theft to those items is high and for that reason we require contents to be enclosed in a building or outbuilding for cover to prevail. Bernadine was in contact with you and discussed in detail the concerns you raised. She also advised that the capped settlement was a business decision.
