Outsurance - When its time to claim you will get the least out of them

My husband and I have been Outsurance clients for over 3 years, we have never claimed, however, we recently had a burst pipe under our sink which flooded our kitchen and ruined our bottom kitchen cupboards. Outsurance now says that they are covering just over R6000 to fix the damage . How are we supposed to get new kitchen cupboards and fix the plumbing with that amount of money, I asked for a second opinion and was told that another assessor will give the same exact report. I'm so unhappy with Outsurance. I will never recommend anyone to use their services. I am in the process of cancelling our home insurance and going to Auto & General as many suggested I do.
