OUTsurance - What a mess, dont worry about the Out Bonus, Run and dont touch them !
No option to submit without a rating - ZERO star rating.
Over late December, while away on holiday, my vehicle broke down. No problem I have comprehensive insurance with OUTsurance, car rental and vehicle warranty cover. At a bare minimum I was expecting my insurance to put me back in the same position. I expect this because I pay their prescribed premium every month.
Stranded 1,150 km away from home with my family, I was forced to pay R10,000 to get my car home, R2,500 for a 1 way hire car and finally my vehicle warranty was declined, because in their words, 'the part wasn't included on the schedule of what is or isn't covered by the warrant' - that will be another R20,000.
What's the point in paying insurance ?
This is a plea to anyone looking at insurance - STAY AWAY FROM OUTSURANCE, its not worth it. There is no peace of mind and you will regret it.

As per your further reply, we confirm feedback was provided to you on all the concerns raised. The car hire repatriation cost as well as towing limit was explained. Our claims manager also discussed the rejection of the motor warranty claim with you. We however fully understand your disappointment.
