Outsurance... We go all out... I sincerely disagree!!!

What a horrible customer experience with their final verdict being a repudiation of the claim. It was my son actually involved in the incident and to add insult to injury, I have never ever seen such types of investigations before and question their legality nevermind the damage caused to one emotionally. I refer to one investigation procedure of interviewing neighbors and I'm not quite sure what the purpose of this?? My son drove and crashed the vehicle, what type of info would you require from my neighbors of a lifetime??? The second reference I'm referring to is going to my sons place of work and investigating what I don't know, the incident happened after hours so what was the need there I still don't know. So after a serious crash he was away for a week to help him heal as prescribed by the Dr. He goes back to work and finds himself moved to a different department to which he can't refute as he needs this job. This has left me in quite a financial dwang naturally but interviewing my neighbors, interviewing managers and colleagues at my sons workplace, is this even legal? Also important to note that we never asked permission for either interview to happen. Disgusting customer service, I also get a phone call to tell me the claim is rejected.... Only when I request for something official while I seek legal counsel do I get a letter...then a ridiculous amount of phone calls to get my car back to me. Honestly I was in the process moving as a saving to me to another insurer and I feel that after figuring out I was moving no courtesy was afforded to me for due process. Very very super disappointed and I will never feel the need to refer you as a preferred insurer!!!!!

Good day Michael,

We will always ensure we do the right thing and treat all clients fairly and will settle perils within the ambit of cover.

Anneke our claims manager contacted you to address your concerns regarding the claim rejection. Anneke also went through our validation process with you, and she emailed the formal rejection letter to you. Please note, you signed the consent letter which gave us permission to speak to 3rd parties in order to validate the claim. We understand that our validation process caused you and your son much discomfort, you have our apologies for that. Certainly wasn't our intention.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to look into the matter.

Regards,
The OUTsurance Team

Validating your process is unfortunately no consolation to the lack of basic human decency or assurance that this is never done to another one of your clients. To you this is just process and a series of people with blinkers just doing their jobs right.... Businesses globally thrive by encapsulating a human element.... Try it!
