OUTSURANCE WANTS TO RIP ME OFF FOR CLAIMING,EVEN AFTER PAYING FOR 11 YEARS

It is so amazing when they want your business, they will not advise you of all the conditions when you claim. They have been taking money from me for 11 years, and never did I receive a courtesy call saying thank you for all the payments and thank for not claiming. In the 11 years that I have been with Outsurance I have only claimed twice in 2013 for my geyser and alarm system, that was struck by lightning. I recently bought a new house, and they were the first to call me, so that they can cover my new property. In December 2016 a strong wind blew some of my roof tiles and fascia boards of. So when it rained my ceilings got wet, I decided to lodge a claim with Outsurance, who said they can’t cover my roof, because my roof was never maintained, they can only cover my ceilings, so that to me does not make sense because the internal damages was caused by the roof being damaged by a storm, good and well they covered the internal damages. A week later my alarm was struck by lightning, I lodged another claim and by then I have already instructed my service provider to assess my alarm system, because I wanted to fix this without claiming, but than my service provider advised me that my alarm panel was struck by lightning, and that my system is prosys 40 and these boards are being discontinued, so I called the insurance and to lodge a claim, and they said, I can use my own service provider, I said no I rather use Outsurance service provider, because they will get a report from their own service provider, which they had an agreement with. The service provide came assessed my alarm and advised me that my alarm system is damaged. The claim was approved, and the service provider can only help me next week Tuesday, that means my house and family is not secured. Today I received a call from the claims department, that going forward, all future claims, I will have to submit proof of me maintaining the particular item prior me claiming, the lady even made reference to their maintenance policy schedule which I have never received from them for my first and second house. The schedule give you time frames as to when you should do maintenance on your buildings swimming pool pumps, that means you must get a contractor out and keep your receipts for future claims, what nonsense is that. When you pay for the 11 years like have been paying they never call and tell you, since you have not claimed, here is your premiums back. The two approved claims will never equal what I have paid Outsurance thus far, all they want to do is to collect premiums so that they can line their pockets and spend a lot of money on advertising and marketing to lure more clients, so that they can *****ed over like I am being *****ed over. When I told the lady who called, that I was never told about the maintenance policy schedule, she emailed me one this morning with a subject line “saying as per your request”, I never requested that information. The worst part the lady said that this will be imposed on both my properties I have with Outsurance. The said part is, on my first property I claimed in 2013 since I moved in 2007, my claim was not because of my doing, the geyser burst and the alarm was struck by lightning. At my new property both claims was act of God, something that is not of my doing. I would understand if this was because of my negligence. When you claim Outsurance acts like they are doing you favour by paying for your claims, but this is money I pay every month. What really makes me angry is that I have been paying for 11 years and only claimed twice in that 11 years, so what about the 10 years I have been paying, I have paid a lot of money, so they can afford my claims, if they would take my money that I have been paying over the years and put in a bank account, my recent claims will not even make dent in that total sum of money I would have in my bank account. They just want to take money and not pay. I have right to claim because I do pay my premiums. Why should my recent claims affect my first property, I really hate the service I have been getting from Outsurance and their service providers. I am really tired of this big corporations, taking advantage of us the consumers, they only good to you when they take your money so that shareholders can get big bonuses. I mean I have been paying premiums for 11 years and now that I claiming it is a problem, I get call at 7am in the morning from Outsurance telling me that my policy will be revised because I claim a lot, but I have received a call for the 11 years I that I have been paying saying thank you. I dare Outsurance to give me the total of all the premiums that I have paid, and let’s compare that that with my recent claims and see which amount is bigger.
