OutSurance - Very Poor Treatment

I am a senior citizen, and have had an OutSurance policy on my 2008 Toyota Avanza for more than 10 years, from when the vehicle was purchased from new. On Thursday 22nd March 2018, my vehicle was hit in the back and damaged by a large Toyota Hilux 4x4 vehicle with a high bullbar. My vehicle was towed to Commercial Panel Beaters in PMB, for assessment. The cost of the repair (inflated as usual) was given as R51 401.30, while the Retail value was R77 562.00. I was told that they want to write off the vehicle as it is "uneconomical to repair",

My vehicle was in excellent, well maintained condition, fully serviced, with a low mileage (82 606Km). How can it be that it is "Uneconomical to repair"? Why does one even bother to insure a vehicle, especially with OutSurance? The cost of the repair (inflated as it normally is, is less than the value of the vehicle. I would not be able to purchase another 2008 Toyota Avanza in the same condition and such a low mileage, for anywhere near the amount that Outsurance want to give me.

I smell a very big RAT here, there is obviously a huge market for the very good condition spares that they would be able to strip from my vehicle, hence the eagerness to write off my vehicle, which I am going to resist with all my might. This is SHOCKING treatment by OutSurance, and their level of service is extremely poor! I would definitely NOT recommend that anyone insure with OutSurance.
