Outsurance uses NonGenuine parts to fix client's cars
Outsurance instructed a panel beater to fix my accident damaged car using second hand or non genuine part without informing me. So *********. Especially after being with them for more than 10 years!

Nthabiseng our claims manager contacted you to address your concerns and to discuss the claim in detail.
The Ombudsman for Short Term Insurance has given approval for all insurers to use 2nd hand or alternative parts on vehicles that are out of their factory warranty period. This will for parts such as fenders, panels, doors, lights etc. this will not include safety parts such as suspension or brakes. The vehicle must also be repaired to manufacturers specifications. Please note, every claim is dealt with on its own merits.
We have given approval for OEM parts to be used on your vehicle.
