Outsurance use bullying tactics to repudiate your claim

Why? Because I don’t happen to recall the exact details of items bought 15 years ago. True story! You don’t get asked to confirm, you get called in, sat down and spoken to as if you are a ********. You know those photo’s I said I would find and you said I really should not put myself to any trouble, well I found them. I have proof.

We bought my husband’s 3-year-old laptop 2nd hand from the company he works for. The proof of payment was not good enough. Neither was talking to the finance department of the company good enough, they insisted the IT department verify the details. WHY? Because the laptop cost us R570.

My son is a 4th year varsity student currently working crazy hours. A fact I mentioned on numerous occasions since his need for computers to work on, is a very real issue. What does Outsurance do, they call my son and quiz him on the items ****** list. ***!! This is my claim. I see my son ONLY when he needs food or is enquiring about the computers. Is this even ethical?

It’s been three weeks. Speedy resolution my ASS!!

Insurance claim? Nope, smacks of witch hunt to me!

We are aware of the discomfort the validation of your claim has caused you and as said before, this is not what we wish for any client to experience.

Our assessing manager, Biko contacted you again this morning and requested to meet with both you as well as your husband to discuss the discrepancies on the claim. We assure you of our commitment to finalise the claim for you as soon as possible and hope to hear from you on Monday to confirm the appointment.

Regards

Dinky
