OUTSURANCE ********* / NOT RETRUNING CALLS / SHOCKING SERVICE
Going on 3 weeks for a repair after quote. Quote R9000 my payment R5200.00. Delayed because it seems using parts that are not bmw, see email below. After I was told I will receive vehicle on Friday. Am I vehicle being fixed or is all about obtaining cheap parts. Explain how can you order a fog lamp cover and it does not fit for a BMW320 - EASY because you don't use genuine parts: see email sent AFTER I had to follow up on Monday: Spoke to OUTsurance today said they will call me back... NO CALL!!!!!!!! "Good afternoon Sir ,
The foglamp cover that was delivered on Wednesday was incorrect, we sent it back and the next day we received another one which was also wrong .
The supplier promised to get us the right one ,but he failed . We have requested for an OEM /New parts straight from BMW , we are waiting for the insurance to approve.
Once approved we will place an order with BMW . We do apologize for the inconvenience caused thus far , we will push to have your vehicle ready this week."
Don't trust OUTsurance when you put in a claim. Still waiting for call after I highlighted this problem

Further to our private reply after receiving your complaint we can confirm that the correct part has arrived and you have collected your vehicle.
The Ombudsman for Short Term Insurance has given approval for all insurers to use 2nd hand or alternative parts for vehicles out of their factory warranty period. This will only be for parts such as fenders, panels, lights etc. and not for safety parts. The vehicle must be repaired to the manufacturers specifications.
We are sorry for the claim delay and frustration that it has caused you.
We accept that the matter could have been handled better and appreciate that you brought it to our attention.
