Outsurance trying to find ways not to pay!!
OUTsurance looking for ways not to pay valid contents claim! Incident date: 15/11/19. Claim lodged: 16/11/19. Assessor 1st visit: 25/11/19. Submission of evidence & docs: 26/11/19. Assessor 2nd visit 03/12/19. New assessor appointed: 04/12/19. Property secured: STILL NOT! 22 days after our break in and Outsurance is still trying to find ways not to pay our valid claim. Our property is still not secure & we have endured a 2nd break in due to this. We are jumping through hoops trying to get this sorted. Now a new assessor is appointed & we have to resubmit EVERYTHING! What a joke! I also get told that items for personal use is not going to be covered because others would use it for business - even though I didn’t! I suffer with Multiple Sclerosis & purchased a electric power chair in 2018 in USA. Now Outsurance want to replace it with a local unit that costs 1/4 of mines price & also doesn’t have a 1/4 of the features I need. As if MS isn’t enough to deal with, I now have to struggle because my insurer is ***********. OUTsurance didn’t have a problem accepting my payment for the correct insured amount though! A 3rd party contents inventory was submitted on policy initiation, which was acceptable then, but now not acceptable as proof of ownership. Get your ducks in a row Outsurance! Leaving a household up in the air without security & crucial living items is unfair to say the least!!!!
