Outsurance to the rescue late at night.

I am retired 78 year old who spent most of my life in the Motor Industry which included the towing industry. i never used to take out towing on my car insurance policy as I was well known in the towing industry and could call on any of my friends to assist . I never had to. I have recently taken out towing on my insurance policy as most of my contacts in the towing Industry are now long gone. At my age I do not like driving at night. On the 28th March I was asked by friends to attend a dinner in Camps Bay. Even though I am still able to fit a spare wheel I thought to myself that should I get a puncture I would have to call Outsurance to assist me as the highway was very busy. Leaving Camps Bay I encountered heavy traffic near the stadium . ( The Stormers had played Edinburgh) I was in bumper to bumper traffic edging forward very slowly. As I got closer to Buitenkant St my car went into limp mode. Fortunately I was close to Buitenkant St and turned left and on to the pavement. Try anything and it stayed in limp mode. I called Outsurance and in 3 rings the phone was answered. The controller was very good and assured me that they would send a rollback to pick me up and take me home. He sent me a pin location that I had to send back and advised me that the Folami Towing would pick me up in about 20min. I told him that I had bought the first new rollback in South Africa in1980. His next words was " are you Kevins father ". He and my son had been working for CTS at the same time. About 15 minutes later the rollback arrived , loaded and took me home to Brackenfell. Safe and Sound. All was handled very well and by both Outsuance and Folami Towing. I am now very happy that I had decided to take out towing option on my insurance. Over the years I have had excellent service from Outsurance. Being my age when the car went into limp mode I got a fright. What Now? How do I handle this? Thank you Outsurance for being there.
