Outsurance the Corporate Bully

Outsurance adverts will make you believe they care about people, and yet behind the scenes they are crushing people, destroying lives. Four years ago I was served with legal papers. Give car hire and repair invoices for an accident I wasn’t involved in. With a car that was not even mine. I called their law firm countless times, explained to different people that they had the wrong person. My only crime being that I tried to stand up for a relative.

Clearly all my pleas have fallen on deaf ears because 4 years later I have a judgement to my name. On the 20th of February 2020 I come home to find a legal document, hand delivered, telling me to appear in court with legal representation, on the 26th of February 2020. I assume the late delivery was deliberate because i’m meant to go there unprepared and clueless, so that the big guy with the big lawyers can attach my hard acquired belongings over an accident I’m not even liable for. You definitely do get something out of outsurance. A ruined credit rating and the fear of losing the little that you have to the big bad wolf! It breaks my heart that big companies like this can take advantage of the already disadvantaged, inning us to the ground when we’re trying so hard to lift ourselves up.
