OUTSURANCE SHOWS TRUE COLOURS
I have been with Outsurance for years. My debit order is paid regularly. I never had any issues and always referred friends to Outsurance. Until now. Last week my car wouldnt start, so Outsurance sent a tow-truck. The tow-truck driver delivered my vehicle to a service provider, but in the process, drove through a boom gate, causing the boom to come crashing down on my vehicle. The service provider would charge me approx R350 to repair the damage. The rules of Outsurance is that should I claim, I forfeit my annual outbonus. So I cancelled my claim. The Outsurance Representative agreed that I should never have claimed in the first place, as it was THEIR service provider who is responsible. I was provided with a reference number and told my vehicle would be repaired without the necessity of a claim. Today I received an email stating: 1. Outsurance have taken the liberty to reinstate my claim number. 2. Damage was 'assessed' at an astronomical R6000.00. This is unbeleivable! 3. My Outbonus will only be paid in THREE years time, (IF) I do not claim within this period. NB : Every year end Outsurance advises that my monthly debit order will be increased w.e.f. January. However, the Outbonus also increases accordingly. Today Outsurance have advised that for the next three years, my debit order will increase, but my Outbonus will not increase. And Outsurance accepts this as fair? And you want me to advertise your good name?
Following our private reply to you, it was confirmed the claim has been cancelled and your OUTbonus remains unaffected.
We wish to apologise once again for the taxing experience.
