OUTsurance saga continues
The OUTsurance saga continues
After my unbelievably awful experience in Dec 2023 / Jan 2024, I have finally decided to move from OUTsurance. As a last ditch attempt, I left my warranty with OUTsurance to see if they cared about client experience at all.
As expected they increased the premium, what I didn't expect is for there to be a 250% increase in the premium.
I don't mind paying for a product, or service or help but when you get none of the list things despite numerous escalations it's difficult to justify. Save your soul and your potential mental anguish. Don't worry about the OUT bonus its not worth it. Enjoy the benefit of the pointsmen at the traffic lights but STAY AWAY FROM OUTSURANCE.

14 May 2024, 14:08Good day Mathew,
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. Shelton, our claims GM, contacted you in January to address your concerns regarding your claim.
Further to our private response, we can confirm that Yanda, our client services manager, advised you that the motor warranty cover you had included cover for the vehicle. Your cover now is the standalone motor warranty.
We do a;pologise for your experience with us.
Regards,
The OUTsurance Team

11 Jul 2024, 08:30You are correct. I will just cancel this once I find a replacement - i don't think it warrants a 250% increase in the premium.
Keep cheating your customers - you won't have any left eventually!
I'm serious when I say be very careful with OUTsurance. Rather pay a premium with a professional outfit and get a product designed for peace of mind, which is what insurance it supposed to be.
