Outsurance refuses to pay innocent party!
I was involved in an accident where an Outsurance client drove into the right front side of my car, because he tried crossing the road into a shopping centre in Elspark on the corner of Kingfisher and Hawk street, after he could not see my car coming down the road as there was an barrier obstructing his view. The client immediately admitted that it was 100 % his fault. I then submitted my claim as third party to Outsurance. No assessor from Outsurance came to survey my car personally. I submitted more than three quotes not one amounting to less than R 22 000 in damages. Not to mention the medical bills the accident resulted in that I have still not been compensated for. The person who handles the claim was unprofessional on more than one account. According to the client she advised him not to answer my calls at all. He is responsible for the accident yet I'm the one who is being treated as a guilty party. She then let me know that Outsurance will NOT pay any amount for my damages as the client's damages is more than mine. The Outsurance client's car was fixed a week after the accident on 14 April 2015 and mine is still not drivable on 26 May 2015. HOW IS THIS ACCEPTABLE?
