OUTSURANCE PROMOTION IS MISLEADING

Outsurance had indicated that they will provide me with a quote although I had one in place due to the purchase of a vehicle. I had indicated to the assessor that I just bought the vehicle and have an insurance policy in place. The assessor had indicated that they want to see if they could better the amount. After providing the necessary information the quote was over R1000 expensive and the assessor had indicated that they will provide me with information to claim against the promotion.

I did the necessary data capturing for the claim against the promotion only to be told that I do not qualify as the insurance is not in place for 30 days. PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF FALSE ADVERTISING.

Good day Rajeeth,

Certainly no false advertising, we have paid out millions in the promotion.

Our quote promotion team have discussed the Ts and Cs with you and unfortunately you didn't meet the criteria. Herewith the link to the Ts and Cs - https://www.outsurance.co.za/car-insurance/r500promo/

Please refer to point 3.3 -  Part of the information required above will be a schedule of your existing insurance cover, confirming that the insurance was effective for at least 30 days prior to the date of our quote.

Regards,
OUTsurance
