Outsurance Prevented Me Being Out of Pocket in Case of a Serious Mishap

Two outstanding experiences.

Firstly, a week ago I received a handy no-claim bonus from Outsurance after 3 years of no claims.

Secondly, I received a quote from a competing insurance broker for my two motor vehicles. Informed Outsurance this morning that I was on the point of cancelling my insurance with them. An agent from the department handling insurance cancellations, discussed my cancellation options very professionally.

He acknowledged my regular premiums as a valued customer. Then continued to point out some of the implications of the offered insurance plan from the competitor.

This was based on a more detailed description of the various elements of the plan in a Benefit Limits document. A link to this document was only present in one of the many emails with quotes and notices to me regarding the proposed plan.

Turned out that some of the basic provisions of the cheaper plan offered, would leave me well out of pocket, compared to the higher premium plans in case of serious mishap.
