Outsurance- pet insurance
I have pet insurance through outsurance. Upon taking the policy, they called me, promised me the world.... I have 4 dogs. I've taken the executive plan for all of them, my monthly installment to outsurance is almost R1300.
5 months later, I want to use this service to take my babies to the vet for a routine check up and annual vaccines. I called outsurance to find out what the amount is that they would cover. I spoke to a lady Nicole, she explained that routine care and injections are not covered on the plan that I have... like really? I'm on the highest plan that is offered. I explained that when I agreeded to the policy I asked questions and was told that routine check up and injections would be covered.
She told me that she would pull up the original call and call me back... guess what?!!! She didn't!!! After me telling her that I don't want to have to look for her.
I called the next day when through the whole thing with a gentleman Lesedi. He also said he would call me the same day as I was not going to be available the Friday due to going into surgery. Low and behold, he doesn't come back to me the same day. I miss the calls the Friday (because I'm in hospital for surgery) only for him to send me an sms to contact him
Please don't ever take out these policies with outsurance. One plan served me great.
Thank you for your feedback.
Gav our client services manager has been in contact with you to discuss the matter in detail. The sales call was listened to, and feedback provided to you. At sales stage you never requested routine cover and the Ts and Cs were read verbatim. We will make the call available to you. Gav advised you that you can add routine care onto cover at an additional premium however there will be a 30-day waiting period.
We do apologise for your experience.
