Outsurance or no-surance

During the massive blackout in PTA east due to the Wapadrand substation explosion, I originally submitted a claim for meat and had now problem with Outsurance paying that. Nobody thought that the power outage would be 10 days,

I was also in the hospital during the period, and afterward, had to get rid of anything else in my fridge, including perishables and other meat that I bought, not thinking that the outage would last so long. I have now put in another claim, which seems to be a problem for Outsurance as they apparently think that I am making things up. To this I say, do your research, you can check the news about the blackout, if you want I'll even send my hospital bill.

At the moment it is apparently at the assessor, which seems to be excessive, as it is not a huge amount, it does not even cover 2 months of premiums. I have never had problems with Outsurance, recommending them to others, but this is making me rethink my opinion. The worst is that I'm being kept in the dark, having to call myself to find out what is happening, only to be told that it is still being assessed. Why?

Hello jojoce

We are so sorry about the added stress we caused you after the terrible ordeal you have suffered for almost 2 weeks!

Paul contacted you with an apology which he explained the reason for. The claim has been finalised, sadly belatedly.

Thank you for accepting our apologies.

Regards

Dinky
