OUTsurance not the best for me.
I have been with OUTsurance from 2005 until this month September 2024 which is my last month. In this time I had a claim in 2009 for flood in my home, windscreen replacement 2016, geyser burst 2018, outside wall damaged by wind 2023, car damage 2023/ Jan 2024 requiring some panel beating and another windscreen replacement 2024. Total damage +/- R80000. I was informed by OUTsurance in July that because of claims my insurance would increase in August by 40%. Outbonus if you don’t claim premium increase if you do. Despite their pleas Mr H. You have been with us almost 20 years a great client, I cancelled my insurance with them. I found another company that I actually get more cover than what I was paying at OUTsurance.
We understand that receiving an annual increase comes as a disappointment.
There are a variety of factors that will influence a premium increase at rerate stage such as claims, inflationary adjustments etc. We tried to review your premium however you decided to cancel.
We do apologise for the disappointment and hope to regain your trust in us in the future.

The OUTsurance Team
