Outsurance Nosurance

Warning to South Africans who diligently pay their car insurance installments knowing one day that when crisis strikes, we should be in safe hands. Well that's in an ideal world, I have had my vw polo sent by outsurance to a panel beaters after somebody knocked into me. Everything in the car was in pristine condition prior to the accident and the panel beaters only needed to body work the right fender and headlamp. All the cost fell upon me wrt excess, courtesy car and sundries. Approximately R12k. The culprit got off clean because he was a foreigner and claimed to have no money or job. Anyways since August 2025 till now my car has still not been completed and is safety compromised. Overtime i email some nee agent from outsurance wants me to explain the entire story from the beginning. Is this why we pay exorbitant fees for pathetic service. Even some of Outsurance own agents told me that's how their company manages these processes in order to cut costs. I tell you all , they must introduce the AA govt 3rd party insurance for every driver on the road and we should be in a better position for our claims. These insurances are scandalous.
