Outsurance Motor Assessment Department
Good Day, I would like to log a complaint with Outsurance Motor Assessment Department for the following reason: Firstly, we reside on a farm. My husband reversed his bakkie into a pole while performing agricultural duties on the farm. The left rear end together with the left tail lamp was damaged. After completing duties on the farm the vehicle was taken to a car wash to be cleaned. A high pressure hose was used and damaged the left tail lamp even further. There was dirt inside the left tail lamp. A claim was submitted 09 Mar 2022. We were asked to send photos to the motor assessor Malibongwe Dlamini, which we did. Malibongwe gave feedback stating that he does not agree with the damages on the left tail lamp. According to Malibongwe the lense has been damaged for a longer period and is also due to environmental influences. We drive on ground roads and it is common sense that there will be dust on the vehicle which includes the damaged tail lamp. He insinuated that we are lying about the damages. This is not acceptable as we contribute monthly instalments to Outsurance and expect service delivery from them. I would like this matter to be resolved as soon as possible.
Thanks for your feedback.
