Outsurance losing loyal customers OT***3
I'm a long term customer of outsurance and the service received today I'm discusted with outsurance. 2 months ago I had to cancel my house building and content for cost saving reasons due to this covid 19 lockdown and only keep my bakkie insured witch I paid R1040. Now they increase my premium to R1115. I call them to review my policy to drop my premium just to hear they cant give me a better premium or take my premium back to what I have paid. that's bull because your car loses value not gaining value. so I said I want to cancel my policy with them and they did not even try to accommodate me. as soon as I find another insurance I'm done with outsurance.

This is a difficult time for all in SA and the impact of COVID-19 to the economy and citizens is huge.
We fully understand your concern and frustration regarding the rerate and we are certainly not insensitive to your current situation. Jevon our retention manager contacted you to address your concerns regarding the rerate and he discussed your policy in detail with you.
Vehicles do depreciate on a yearly basis however the cost of spare parts and labour increases on a yearly basis which has a direct impact on premium.
We do apologise for letting you down.
Regards,
OUTsurance
