Outsurance looks for any reason not to pay out & doesn't care about customers. False advertising

I've been with Outsurance for 3 years+ now. My hubby met up in an accident in Feb 2019. Customer service feedback is pathetic, they don't get back to you or return calls. After a month of making my own transport arrangements, Outsurance says its not economical to fix my car and has written it off. Mind you I only have 1 and half years left to pay and the car would've been mine. The mileage is only ±46000km. What I find weird is the car is not going to be repaired for me but Outsurance will fix my car and sell it at an auction to make a profit as they will not be deregistering the car as an accident and rebuild. Even after telling them pay the threshold value and I will pay the balance, they refused. "So sorry mam it doesn't work that way, we have to write it off." I walk away with nothing, less then what I even put down as a deposit on my car and Outsurance walks away with there pockets lined. This is very frustrating and I feel cheated by Outsurance. I've been a loyal customer this is not how I should be treated. Outsurance sucks. Honestly I don't expect a response or any solution to my current problem from Outsurance. I'm seriously considering taking the matter to the Insurance ombadsmen and see what happens from there. Maybe they can assist me.
