Outsurance left us the VICTIM

A client of OUTsurance damage my sons vehicle when drove into the back of the bakkie, clearly using her cellphone or she was fast asleep? Left him with damages amounted to R14 000, the lady accepted liability on the spot. Outsurance came back with the following: offer to write off the bakkie and settle for the amount of R5100 ? in their opinion the bakkie is valued at less than the repairs (Nissan 1 ********** ) Him being a student, bought this gem with his own hard earned money for R30 000, looked after it like it is his baby and using it to earn money for his own studies. I refuse to accept OUTsurance tactic to avoid any correspondence and/or communication to this regard.

They have been and STILL is the bullies, ‘You Always Get Something OUT‎? Well yes, you get to keep the special engraved knife in your back dear fellow human!

This incident has been 100% due to Ms X’s not obeying the rules and in NO sense due to ANY wrong doings of the driver of the Nissan bakkie.

We are not willing to accept this offer; and
We expect it to be repaired to its former condition.

We await instructions from Outsurance in this regard, as well as the contact details of the ombudsman, should this lead to a dispute.

This "liability claims manager". . . decided not to reply to any communication or telephone messages. which i read as a tactic move. Please do enlighten me why this no brainer, had to escalate to THIS?
