OUTsurance is the worst!

OUTSURANCE is the worst! It is NOT worth the R 400 free money they give you if they cant beat your quote. It is NOT worth the R 200 a month you might save if you sign up with them. Due to OUTsurance not taking the time to assess the real issue, Outsurance has caused us to be without a kitchen for over 3 months now. Their useless contractors have caused damage to more of the house than what needed fixing in the first place. What started off as a small leak has now escalated to ceiling replacements, cupboard replacements, roof tile replacements, electrical issues and more. All this because it takes their internal staff weeks to read and respond to emails and messages. The leak should have been fixed in a day or two but due to the absolute incompetence of the OUTsurance client liason person as well as their appointed assessors and contractors, we are now over 3 months in and still the problem is not resolved. I am scared every time their contractor Big 6 walks into my house as I have no idea what they will break next and then lie to OUTsurance about. It has been the worst experience I have ever had! They have cost me R 2000 in water bills because it took them over a month to fix the leak, R 8000 to fix my garage door because their contractor Big 6 forced open my garage door. R 350 to fix the irrigation because their contractor Big 6 drove over the pipes. This is not to even mention spending the entire December without any kitchen cupboards because again their client liason person Ian Gilfillan couldn't be bothered to approve quotes or escalate it. The appointed assessor Matthys du Toit switched off his phone for 4 weeks and never got back to me. This is how little all the OUTsurance people care! THe problem is still not resolved and this is now getting close to 5 months. We have built entire homes in less time they have taken to fix this.

Good day Yolandie,

It is very disappointing to read how we let you down as our valued client. This was the last thing we wished for you to experience.

Lebo our client liaison manager contacted you to address your concerns and to discuss recourse with you. An auditor was appointed to ensure your home is repaired to your satisfaction. Justin the auditor met with you on Friday at your premises and he will stay in contact with you up until all the work has been finalised.

We sincerely apologise for the poor service delivery.

Regards,
OUTsurance
