Outsurance is now a ******* change your insurance before you need it this could help someone
Run away while you can they have increased the excess for any damages caused by power outages to 4500 .Outsurance refused a claim caused by flooding in February the outside wall was uprooted by the flooding and they claimed a wall less than 5 years was damaged because of wear and tear.Further to that they have increased the excess of any damage caused by power voltage. I have decided its time to move on and find another insurance company,there is no longer any value from Outsurance for me except that they benefit from my premium on a monthly basis.Run while you can before you need insurance!!!

We understand that the increase in your excess amount is disappointing.
The excess changes were an industry decision, due to the increase in power surge and dip claims over the last 3 years.
OUTsurance did not want to implement cover limitations or increased premiums for this benefit hence we decided to implement a standardised excess with regards to power surge and lightning claims.
This means that irrespective of the value of the claim the excess will remain a fixed amount.
We are sorry for the disappointment.
