Outsurance is a **** and a ****!

Outsurance is a complete ****!

An accident occured between our vehicle and another. The other person signed an affidavid at the police station, 100% accepting fault on their end and taking full responsibility.

At first Outsurance offered a silly amount of R7000 to cover damage repairs from just photos. After we refused to accept the offer because the photos do not show internal damages and it is a lot more cost than they offered, Outsurance agreed for us to take the car to a panel beater to get a full assessment and quotation.

The quotation is a whopping R26,071.26. Now, we send this quotation and assessment on to Outsurance, low and behold they offer only R20,295.46 claiming that they have a discount agreement with the panel beater. Luckily we send this on the mechanic to confirm if this is true and correct and the mechanic confirmed this is not true. Outsurance removed integral parts from the panel beaters' report and quotation and then approved it less these parts which are the major parts that were damaged. The car has been at the mechanic shop for more than 2 weeks now!

They are taking their sweet time and it seems as if they are trying to **** us into something that will make us pay from our pockets. We will not pay a cent from our pocket. If there is any difference to be paid in, it should be from their client who has acknowledged that the accident was their fault. This is an absolute disgrace to be cheated and **** to from a "so called" trusted No.1 insurance provider. This is not acceptable and we will now be taking this further with the ombudsman. Time and patience is up!

Well done Outsurance, when my husband is back in SA he will be sure to cancel all his Outsurance insurance policies too.

Clearly no longer a trustworthy insurance company...
