Outsurance is *********.
I contacted Outsurance and confirmed a policy on Saturday 26 August with the view of purchasing a vehicle. I subsequently decided to not follow through with the purchase. I emailed Outsurance on the same day, confirming cancellation of the contract, as per the terms of the contract. On Monday morning, 28 August I called Outsurance and confirmed the cancellation via telephone with great difficulty, due to Outsurance trying to sell me house insurance. It was confirmed via telephone by the Outsurance rep that the policy is cancelled. The representative indicated that she will send a letter of confirmation, which I never received. I confirmed the conversation via email and reiterated the cancellation. On Monday afternoon I received an email, indicating that a dispute was referred, and an outcome will be given in 5 days. I responded to say that there is no dispute. I cancelled the contract, which was confirmed via telephone by the Outsurance rep. This morning, a debit order was debited against my bank account (which the Outsurance rep indicated would be debited on the 15th of the month).
What more do I need to get Outsurance to cooperate? I am going to report the Outsurance representative to FAIS and act against Outsurance in terms of the Consumer Protection Act.
Outsurance are really *********, and I do not recommend anyone do business with them.

Rejoice our retentions manager contacted to get the matter resolved. The premium submitted to the bank on the same day your policy was cancelled. You advised Rejoice that you would reverse the premium. We can confirm that your policy has been cancelled and confirmation of cancellation has been emailed to you.

You seem to not understand what I am telling you, and I am warning you. If you debit my account on 1 September, I will go to every tribunal possible, ombudsman, report every single person I spoke to to FIC and FAIS, and I will deal with you. You are contravening the CPA.
Your business is in disarray and you have no idea what you are doing. Get your house in order.
