Outsurance Insurance refuse to settle legitimate claim

An Outsurance client caused a negligent vehicle accident whereby my vehicle was irreparably damaged and my son injured. The Outsurance client monthly premium is paid up to date and active. As I only had third party, theft and fire cover at my insurance, I was advised to lodge the claim at Outsurance myself, which should be a straight forward procedure as their client was 100% responsible for causing the accident. Their client which was 85 years old apparently had a heart attack and passed on a couple of days after the accident. As sorry as I am for the loss of a life, his insurance premium was up to date and my claim should definitely be settled by Outsurance. They refuse to settle my claim with the reason that their client has passed away.

What kind of an insurance company is this? Hey Outsurance, should I just accept that I must take this financial knock to ensure your bonuses at the end of the year? I do not think so.

Hi Alet, Absolutely nothing happened from Outsurance side on my request and my money spent on a private lawyer to try and settle this dispute. I lost a lot of money with losses as a result of the vehicle accident as well as legal fees. I suppose we the public mostly enriches the insurance companies and legal fraternity as we are used as cannon fodder.
