Outsurance incompetence when moving debit orders.
I am currently repaying debt to outsurance through a debit order for a claim submitted by a client of theirs. I changed banks recently and basically contacted them to have the details for the debit order updated to new account to move the debit date to the 1st of every month as to get all my debit orders on the same day.
After numerous times asking the consultant that helped with the claim that it would go off on the first of the month and that it would go off on the new account I received an sms on the 17/04/2018 that they tried to debit my cheque account which then bounced because my pay has not gone in yet.
A simple changed that needed to be made on their system has now basically given my credit score a knock because it bounced, I basically need to pay penalties to the bank as well as try make sure the date gets fixed.
The service they provide is dismal at best and I'm competency of their team if a person can Mistake the 1st of every month as the 17th of every month. Still waiting for the issue to be resolved.
Hello JiShiKaToChi
We are sorry about the inconvenience.
We did update the bank details as well as the debit date, but since the payment was reversed, our system automatically resubmitted from the old account.
Andrew was since in discussion with you and will monitor whether the payment of 17 April did go through. He also explained future amounts and dates of submissions.
Thank you for your understanding.
