Outsurance funeral insurance

I took out a funeral policy gor my husband and I last year, my husband passed away on saturday 5 September 2020. I submitted a claim and forms were sent to me. When i took out the policy telephonically I was not asked anything regarding the state of our health but on the claim form the questions they asked looked like I was submitting a life cover claim. Very intimidating questions like, "how long did you know about the diagnosis of the deceased's health etc". They even ask what OTHER policies you have and their value. When I email my claim forms there is always something outstanding. I submit a document early in the afternoon and only get contacted the next day very late to say that there is something else oitstanding. It has been dragging on in this snail pace till today 12 September 2020. Metropolitan paid out promptly and we were able to bury my husband on friday 11 September 2020. I am still waiting for outsurance to pay after they promised to pay yesterday morning. This is the eorst ever. I am cancelling my existing cover because of this nasty experience. There is just no urgency and it seems a funeral claim is being treated as a life cover claim that needs to be investigated. The claim form immediately gives me the feeling that they are looking for a reason not to pay.
