Outsurance finds way out of the R1 500 quote promotion

The R1 500 quote promotion It seems Outsurance has found a way out of the quote promotion. The agent asked me upfront what I pay now. She beat my current insurance payment with R4 but could not give me the no excess coverage that I currently have. I was told I do not qualify for the promotion as my montly payment was R4 less, despite the fact that Outsurance could not beat this coverage on a like-for-like basis. According to their Ts & Cs it is on a like-for-like basis. Does this sound right? They do not adhere to their own Ts & Cs.
