Outsurance Finally Bites The Dust

In early April this year whilst on my way to work, a young girl, from behind a stop sign at a petrol station, jumped out in front of me. With no where to go and no way to avoid her, we collided. My front bumper is damaged to the value of just over R6000. She clearly admitted that she just didn't see me. i have a whole petrol station of witnesses too. Turns out, however that we are both insured with Outsurance. Aaaaah, well that's a problem then, isn't it? It shouldn't be.... However, turns out that it is. To date no one has bothered to contact me regarding my claim against her policy. After some threatening today I eventually got a call from Mpho in the legal department. Apparently, because the lass jumped out in front of me from behind a stop sign I should have had enough time to avoid colliding with her!!! Preposterous!!! So now, I can only claim a portion from her policy but i need to pay the vast majority of the bill!!! Disgusting! Appaling! Good bye Outsurance - time to throw you OUT! I will henceforth be cancelling my entire policy (vehicles, life, the lot!).
