OUTsurance Error Left My Car Uninsured for a Day

I’ve been in the process of moving my vehicle insurance over to OUTsurance while also arranging builder’s insurance, as I’m currently purchasing a property.

Initially, the builder’s insurance was scheduled to start on 15 August (as advised by our attorney), but due to the nature of property transfers and how timelines can shift, I had to activate the builder’s insurance earlier than expected. It was during this change that I discovered an issue with my vehicle insurance: the debit check had not been processed correctly, and the policy was only set to start on 2 August — not 1 August, as I had arranged.

This means that my car is technically uninsured for today, 1 August.

This is extremely frustrating, especially since I took all the necessary steps in advance. I work hard for my assets and have been proactive about protecting them — that’s why I moved to OUTsurance in the first place. It’s very disappointing to find myself in a position where I’m left without cover for a day due to an administrative error.

Is there any way the policy can still be activated today, 1 August? I would really appreciate urgent assistance, as I don’t want to be exposed — even temporarily.
