Outsurance double the price.

I scratched my car and contacted Outsurance, had to send them pictures of the car damage etc. They came back with a figure of R11,000.00 for repairs. My excess is R4250.00. am a pensioner and just do not have that money. I went to 2 other reputable panel beaters and the one quote was R6815.00 and the other one was R5750.00. Outsurance has an approved list of suppliers with whom they deal. Now for their quote to be double that of others is just not acceptable. I found someone who did a fantastic job for R1200.00. He is Andres Panel Beaters in Eerste River. ***. He took less than a day to repair. I would like to know from Outsurance why their approved supplier is so much more and does no one ever compare the quoted prices. I am still waiting for an explanation from Outsurance. In the end it is the policy holders whose premium goes up.
