Outsurance doesn't deliver on promises
Two Outsurance clients had an accident (motorbike & car) on 06/08/'14. After I was released from hospital Out. told me to take the bike for a quote. I requested assessor instead (I was unable to ride). They refused & said to wait until I can ride. There4 I only submitted the quote by 17/11 & all evidence of accident. The lady driver refused to admit liability or give consent for claim so Out. said they can't pay out. I must claim from my policy or sue her myself (this would affect my claim record negative for future insurance). Still today, no payment. Imagine 6 months later you still can't use your vehicle & also incurred other costs because of it. My bike is now 1y older meaning I will get less for it. Who will bare this loss now? As a client I should:
1. Not get quotes myself when incapable to drive (6 weeks on crutches). Out. should arrange this.
2. Not have to sue other party in person but legal dept. should do it.
3. In such a dispute, there should be a kitty so damages can be paid out (better service) & thereafter, the mess can be sorted out assessing the evidence and claimed against that policy?
Outsurance's bad processes prevents advertised good and fast service!!
