Outsurance does not want to pay.
Good day.
On Saturday 30 September 2017, Myself and my mother-in-law Mrs C van Tonder were on our way back home from Uitenhage to Jeffreys Bay at about 13:30.
I stopped at the stop street where the R334 and the R102 meet.
I proceeded to travel on the R102 (Old Cape Road) for +/- 100 meters, I saw a white Toyota Corolla approaching me from the opposite direction.
This said person was travelling on the white line. It seemed that the driver of the Corolla had corrected their vehicle and moved over back in their lane. As soon as the Corolla reached me there was a huge noise and I was covered in glass.
I immediately stopped. As there was no safe space to pull over on my side I made a U-turn and pulled off to the side of the road on the opposite side. Once i had exited my vehicle, I observed that the Toyota Carolla had come to a halt and also proceed to make a U-turn.
Once the driver of the Toyota Corolla approached me she expressed to me that she is not sure how this accident happened. She admitted it was a mistake on her part. She informed me that she is driving a company vehicle and that the company will cover all the damages.
I have attached the sketch that you requested as well as the Report of Accident's case number. Below you will also find the email that I received from her company.

Good day Miss Cooper, Please be advised that we were not successful with the recovery of your excess amount of R 4,010.00 from the other party's insurer.
An sms notification was sent to you on 2/11/2017 to inform you of this outcome after a failed attempt to make contact with you telephonically.
The other driver advised her insurer that you veered into her lane and damaged her vehicle
Without an independent eye witness to confirm the version of either party, we decided not to pursue the matter further as we have 2 mutually destructive version and insufficient evidence to prove our claim.
Due to this dispute your excess could not be recovered from the other party's insurer and therefore cannot be paid back to you.
Regards
