Outsurance does not look out for customers

In April of 2021 I notified Outsurance that I am moving to a smaller premises. I also told them that most of my business stock must be taken off the insurance as it is a different type of business now. After that, numerous times I have asked for a review of my premium, Only today, almost three years afterwards, I am informed that my turnover can affect it. And suddenly my premium drops by about R200.

Why was this not communicated to me beforehand? I would like to request a refund as I did in fact notify outsurance that the business is now smaller, with smaller premises.

Good afternoon Andre,

Further to our private reply, our client care manager Nobukhosi contacted you to adress your concerns.

After reviewing your call, she established that the Point-of-sale sum insured, and premium was discussed and there was no objection from your side.

She has also requested supporting documentation for consideration, regarding your turnover.

We apologise for any misunderstanding and ask that you refer any further concerns or queries to Nobukhosi directly.

Regards,
The OUTsurance Team
