Outsurance dishonesty
I asked for a comparative quote from outsurance, they didn't beat my current, then they gave me R400. Few weeks later I receive a email from them stating give us another chance...No fine print...I complete the form as its a win win for me either way then..Again R400 or cheaper insurance, why not...Then their agent(James) hounds me for days until I sit down and complete the quotation...Again couldn't beat it. I say sorry mr, but thanks for the money, He laughs ad we end the call in good spirit....Then he starts getting smart & don't send the formal quotation so that I can claim again, then stories about 3 months didn't pass between the quotations (remember I have a mail to show without fine print)...Few months later, still no money. So in short>>>don't believe outsurance and their if we cant beat your current insurance speech..
It's unfortunate we could not have offered you a saving, even after the 2nd quote you received from us.
We were not able to discuss your concerns telephonically at all. Refilwe finally reached out to you via email as well.
Our Ts & Cs stipulate you qualify to participate in the promotion again after 186 days from previous quote date.
Your previous quote was obtained on 20 March and since we could not have offered you a saving at the time, made the payment to you.
Regards

I think in future outsurance must consider the following:
1. Not send a mail to a person to say give us another chance, or R500 (sorry I said R400 previously) knowing that it will not happen.
And if the error slips through, keep to your word and not to T&Cs that you have to go read separately somewhere else.
2.Not ever reach out to me again,I just can not handle this way of doing business. Somewhere between frowned upon and just plain dishonest.
