Outsurance disappoints
There's a reason people tell you they are poor. It's because they are poor. Claim for damage rejected because the pipe that burst was old and there was wear and tear. I'm not a plumber and I'm insured for just in case a pipe bursts!

Further to our private reply our claims manager Nigel contacted you to discuss the reasons for our decision.
Our decision was based on the fact that the claim was not reported to us when identified and we were later informed of resultant damages, after you had already attended to the repairs.
The item was therefore not available for assessment.
We have however made a decision to assist you as a once off benefit.
