Outsurance definitely NO SURANCE!!!!

Biggest ********* will gladly take your money but never pay on any claim!!!!! I bought a house less than three months ago. FNB evaluated the property R***.00 I disputed the evaluation amount with FNB and the with Outsurance even before I moved into the new property. Outsurance refused to send out their own evaluator they just told me they will insure the property on the bank's evaluator. I then had to pay the monthly premium of R1500.00 three months later we had a major storm and the roof started leaking. I logged a claim Outsurance now refuse to pay the claim as the roof was badly maintained according to them. How can I be responsible for maintenance I am only staying in the property three months and the refused to inspect the property before insuring it?

Hello Johan

We are not all insensitive to financial burden the outcome of the claim has on you.

Since you already referred the matter to the offices of the Ombudsman, we confirm we are now waiting for their ruling.
It also needs to be said we don't evaluate properties, as this remains the responsibility of the bank.

Regards
OUTsurance

But then how do you ensure a structure or a property without any inspection and when the first claim raise its bad maintenance? (three months into the contract) It also came to light the property that's insured by you also have alterations that are *******ly built without plans. So you also go on the bank's inspection and insure *******ly structures without any problem and when you need to pay a claim it's not your problem because you don't have assessors LOL. But when the claim arises you have assessors that assess the damage? So also according to Outsurance, it's legal to ensure ******* structures because the bank assessed the property DO YOU ALSA INSURE ****** CARS LOL
