Outsurance ********* Quotes and Sudden Premium Changes

Got quoted R412 on a Renault kwid which I thought was very low so I asked if they were certain it was correct and I was reassured that it was. Later in the evening I get a call saying there was a "systems glitch" and was told my new premium will be R1400 while my profile online says R1200.

They then wanted to deduct R700 the next day. This is a disgusting ploy to lure people into agreeing to a policy and then changing it last minute without their consent.

I did not expect such behavior from a company like Outsurance that I always thought was one of the more reputable insurers. I will tell as many people as possible so that they can avoid being deceived into an agreement where the premiums can increase 300% the next day after you join.
