Outsurance Claims barriers
My house which is on the market got burgled on the 17th January 2021.I reported it to the police, made an online statement and met with one of their arrogant assessors patrick brouard who I the had to give him an account again which I did. Where I could not give him info which I had no knowledge of, Outsurance in their correspondence said I must give correct info and gave that as an initial reason for delay in the claim. I then publicised my experience and was told management would contact me except for a qaasim varind a colleague of patrick to email saying the claim is being denied on the reason the house was vacant. Obviously the house was vacant in that it was for sale. However, it does have surveillance cameras footage of which was given to the police and outsurance. outsurance assessors appear to be a law unto themselves putting barriers in place when clients try to claim. I have since spoken to a client consultant today who said it will be escalated to management. Outsurance;s failure to meet my claim will be taken further to the regulatory body as wells as the ombudsman.
