Outsurance claim

Outsurance are ***********. Our car was ****** on the 18/01/2020. We felt relieved that we had chosen Outsurance to insure our car but we were unaware of the level of ***********cy we would have to deal with. Our car was recovered and sent to the pound. We visited the pound on the 20th January, the car was in a surprisingly good condition. We knew that the damages were minimal and were so confident that we will have our car back soon. The car was moved to the Outsurance assessment center were it was assessed by by the Kyle, the damages were R17500, the car was taken to a panel beating shop in Redhill without consulting us, we wanted Ross Champion in Point road near our house. The car lay in Redhill for a few more days, finally it was taken back to the Outsurance yard and then to out utter disbelief it ended up at Ross Champion in Pinetown. Again after much drama, phoning, sending emails the car was taken to Ross Champion in Point road, we went immediately to see the car, to our shock and horror the car had several more knocks, bumps, dents scratches and the bumper was damaged,probably through moving it without the use of a flat bed truck. Ross Champion assessed the car and found R51000 damages. Outsurance then wrote the car off, Maggie MADOLO from Outsurance informed us that we need to deregister the car. We went with the Uber to Goble road license office in Durban, we sat in the queue, Maggie called and informed me that she is very sorry but she made a mistake, Outsurance derigisters the car not us. I was shocked at how *********** she was. We went back home, please know that my husband is 61 years old and I'm 55 years old, I had a triple heart bypass in August 2019. It was a terrible experience with the extreme heat too. Eventually Outsurance paid us out on the 7 February. They still also charged us for the month of February, they still have the audacity to tell us that they can only refund half of the premium. The most pathetic service ever, I will not recommend Outsurance for any product, they really disappointed us, shame on them
