OUtsurance Claim

My 23-year-Old nephew with a goal of starting his own transport business bought a Car and immediately bought comprehensive business insurance with Outsurance. He was involved in an accident, the car was written off and the OUtsurance Assessor came to my nephew's office, invited him into his car and literally ripped him apart. My nephew was interrogated beyond belief. Threatened with access to CCTV footage and all else should his story somehow not come together. It’s not enough that his access of R27,000.00 would be waiting for payment. My nephew felt as if he was a ******** being questioned by a prosecutor who had deemed him to be guilty. Charles Krieger further accessed his mobile phone to check his travel log, Google Maps and also questioned him on every detailed event that happened a day leading up to the incident. Traumatized and Intimidated into submission this 23-year-old boy simply comp**** to Charles’ every request of bank statements, names and receipts of what he had bought a day prior in a bid to collate just enough to reject this claim. The family is shocked and outraged at OUtsurance. Why in the world did OUTsurance deploy such insensitive, unprofessional assessors with no sympathy and with only the aim of nailing the victim in order to get away from honoring a claim? This guy had no sympathy nor any human feeling nor considers that this child was just involved in an accident. All he did was to tear him apart and even traumatized him the more. Isn’t the reason we took insurance policy is for us to have peace of mind, knowing we will be covered should the unforeseen happen? Or they happy to present themselves as client-centric when they are out to get their own more than cover the client. Can someone from Outsurance please review this matter and please let me know when our claim will be paid. This young man life depends on it.

Good day chrisbada,

Thank you for your feedback. Deon our assessing manager contacted you to address your concerns and he informed you that the outcome was discussed in detail with our client.

We firmly believe that our client's claim is not valid in terms of our agreement with him.  We have responded to all of his objections made to us and provided him with the information.

Regards,
