Outsurance chain collision claim nightmare

On the 22 of January, I was involved in a chain collision on the N1 south, just before Rigel off ramp. I was in vehicle A. I came to a hard just stop, not touching the vehicle in front of me. Vehicle B also came to a hard stop, not touching me. Vehicle C slammed into vehicle B, pushing B into me, vehicle A. Vehicle B's driver went to do the accident report. I am with Outsurance and too say I am disappointed is an understatement. Vehicle C is also with Outsurance. I thought this might make things easier. Vehicle C is denying my claim against her, saying that vehicle B hit my car, and then she hit him. 2 drivers against one drivers version of the events, and they chose that person. If I put the claim in against my Outsurance policy, I lose my Outbonus. I can't put in a claim against vehicle C, because she is denying the claim. Outsurance is just giving me the run around. If I don't get a call back from one of the assesment managers soon, as soon as this thing is sorted out I am changing insurance..Outsurance...not happy at all with this service. Disgusting is a nice way of putting this experience

Good day De V,

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.

After responding privately to your review, we escalated the matter to Amalta our legal manager. Amalta discussed the legal process in detail with you. You have advised Amalta that you will be claiming directly from the other party as you don't want to claim from your own policy. We will provide you with guidance on how to proceed with claiming from the other party.

We do apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Regards,
The OUTsurance Team
