Outsurance car insurance revaluation

I've been an Outsurance client for more than four years and have both my car and home content insured with them. <br> <br> With my previous vehicle, Outsurance was willing to revalue my car every six months and have my premium lowered according to the depreciation of the vehicle. My current vehicle has been insured with Outsurance for two years now and I recently contacted Outsurance to have it revalued and the premium adjusted accordingly. Although Outsurance agrees that the retail price of my car is now nearly R100 000 less than when I purchased it two years ago, they are unwilling to adjust the premium at all.<br> <br> I've been a happy Outsurance client for long, but their attitude in this regard is going to have me shop around for another insurer. In the beginning they will use the OutBonus as a carrot for you to sign up, later on, as in my case, they will use it as a stick : knowing that one is unlikely to move if an OutBonus of some sort is due any time soon, as it will be lost, they are simply not interested in keeping clients happy and do as they please.<br> <br> If you're considering Outsurance, beware of this issue and ask them about their policy on revaluation before taking up car insurance!!!
