Outsurance cant keep a promise!!!l!

We have been with outsurance for a few years, and this is our second claim we have with them. I was in a accident on Friday 7th August. We phoned them for our claim. As far as i know when you are over 60 years of age you dont have to pay the excess . When we spokw to the lady of outsurance shectold us that we have to pay the excess. I think it is very unproffesional to make promisses that they dont keep. My husbans is wthout a job for a few months know, and we really dont have the money. We pay our installment every month without skipping once so i think that they could accomadate us

Good day Adrie,

Thanks for raising your concerns with us.

Siphiwe our claims manager has contacted you to address your concerns and he discussed the excess in detail with you.

There will always be a 1st amount payable in the event of a claim however if a client is older than 60 and is retired, they need to inform us. We will then update their cover and the zero excess will be applicable.

You have updated your excess for future claims and we have waived your excess for the current claim.

We do apologise for the initial disappointment.

Regards,
OUTsurance

Best regards,
