Outsurance bad plumbers and ****mers
Today, I experienced a water leak and promptly contacted my insurance company, Outsurance, for assistance. While they quickly arranged for a plumber, the tradesperson was unprofessional. Within 10 minutes, he claimed the geyser had burst and needed replacement, stating it couldn't be done until the next day.
I then hired a private plumber after noticing significant water damage to my ceiling. The private plumber assessed the issue and found a leaky water pipe, which he promptly repaired. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done, and my ceiling suffered extensive damage.
I believe Outsurance should take responsibility for the resultant damages, given the unprofessional service provided by their recommended plumber. It's unacceptable that their contractor's hasty diagnosis led to further damage, and I expect Outsurance to cover the costs and ensure this doesn't impact my insurance record or my outbonus.

Our claims manager, Anje, has been in contact with you to address your concerns and she provided you with the expert’s report. There is no burst geyser. The reason for the leak was due to the overflow pipe of the pressure relieve valve. Water was leaking from the drip tray onto the ceiling.
The resultant damage to the ceilings is not because of the rescue plumbers. The rescue plumbers isolated the geyser to avoid further water damage to the ceiling and bulkhead. Anje has sent you an email with a way forward.
